You may have seen that we are recruiting teachers for our elementary and pre-school children. I know the first response of many is that this is not the kind of thing you have experience with or would actually enjoy. But I want to ask, “how do you know?” I am calling on the adventurous types who would be willing to come in early to church on a Sunday morning and learn some insights from an experienced teacher and then be a helper for the day. Maybe you will get your feet wet so to speak, and end up enjoying our younger member’s questions and enthusiasm! Who knows what hidden teaching gift might be lurking just beneath the surface.
