Serving Our Neighbors

Epiphany cares for our neighbors in Herndon.

Lutie Lewis Coates Elementary School: Every month Epiphany members work together to provide more than 600 meals for hungry kids at this Fairfax County Public School. Each summer we host a Gospel centered “Sports Camp” at the school for neighborhood children.  Epiphany volunteers and helps in many other ways at Coates as well.

Seasonal activities: Epiphany partners with organizations such as Western Fairfax Christian Mission and Herndon’s LINK ministry for seasonal projects, such as preparing and delivering holiday meal boxes for families in need and backpack collections for students returning to school. We work with other local churches to staff and operate a hypothermia prevention cold shelter ministry for those without homes in Fairfax County.

Get involved: Taking part in these ministries is easy – ways to be involved are regularly announced during Sunday worship and through Epiphany’s email newsletter.
