The Alpha Course is coming to Epiphany beginning Tuesday March 29. These weekly gatherings to discuss life’s big questions continue through June 7 from 6pm to 8:30pm at Church of the Epiphany.
Our gathering begins with food, because it’s a great way to build community and get to know each other. Come with an appetite at 6:00pm.
These short talks (usually about 25 minutes long) are designed to engage guests and inspire conversation. Sometimes these conversations will be live, other times we will use a video from the Alpha Course. Each session will explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions such as “Who is Jesus?” and “How can I have faith?”
Probably the most important part of any Alpha: the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and simply discuss it in a small group. There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t say (Seriously!). It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.
