Christmas Events at Epiphany

All are welcome at Epiphany as we celebrate the Christmas season.  Directions to our church are here.

Lessons and Carols 10:15am Dec. 22 – This traditional service combines readings from scripture with well-known Christmas carols that we sing together as a congregation.  This year, Lessons and Carols will include a short sermon focused on the meaning of Christmas.  While Communion is not part of the Lessons and Carols service, there will be an 8am Holy Eucharist on Dec. 22.

5pm Christmas Eve:  We will continue to have our Christmas Eve family service at 5pm. This year, Mtr. Pamela will be introducing a new Christmas Eve children’s drama.  The choir will also be present to help us make a joyful noise as we sing favorite Christmas hymns together.

9pm Christmas Eve:  This is our quieter Christmas Eve service with candlelight.  Note the time change.  We hope that the 9pm time will make this time of worship more accessible to more people.

Epiphany Gift:  As we have done in years past, we will be making a gift as a congregation from the Christmas Eve offering at both services.  This year we will be supporting a priest in our diocese, the Rev. Jay Baylor, and the work he is doing with more than 100 churches in Baltimore to bring Scripture-based healing to people who have experienced trauma.  Watch for more details about this year’s “Epiphany Gift” in the weeks ahead.
