With the release of new guidance from the CDC that places Northern Virginia in the “low risk” category and a shift to “mask-optional” in area school systems in line with a new state law, Epiphany is following suit.
Starting this Sunday, March 6, we are discontinuing our mask requirements in Sunday school classes for students and teachers. We are also discontinuing our church-wide requirement that those who are unvaccinated wear masks while in the building. Masks remain welcome at Epiphany and continue to be recommended particularly for those who are at high-risk from COVID. Our mask-only worship area in the fellowship hall will continue to be available. Please persevere in respecting each other and the individual choices we make during this time.
