Holy Week and Easter at Epiphany – 2026

Walk the way of the cross and celebrate the resurrection at Church of the Epiphany, March 29 – April 5.  Directions to Epiphany are here.

Maundy Thursday: Jesus instituted the Last Supper during His meal in the Upper Room with His closest disciples on Thursday of Holy Week. We will gather for a solemn celebration of the Eucharist at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2.

Good Friday: This solemn service is at noon and 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3.

Prayer Vigil: Epiphany will be keeping a prayer vigil in the chapel beginning at the conclusion of the evening Good Friday service through to the start of the Great Vigil of Easter on Saturday evening. For more information about participating in this time of watchful prayer, contact Mr. Brad Johnson (bravhorn22@aol.com) or sign up for a timeslot here.

Great Vigil of Easter: Epiphany begins our Easter celebrations with the Great Vigil of Easter service at 7:30 p.m. on April 4. This musical and traditional service tells the story of salvation and joyfully welcomes the beginning of the Easter season.

Easter Sunday: Easter worship at Epiphany is at 10:30 a.m. on April 5. Join us for this glorious and joyful service. There is no 8:00 a.m. service on Easter Sunday. There will be an Easter egg hunt for children, Sunday school for preschool age children, and activities for elementary age children available as you enter the sanctuary.

Just for Kids:  This year, Epiphany’s preschool and elementary kids will encounter the Easter Story in a new way.  Beginning this Palm Sunday elementary kids will encounter Jesus during Holy Week using some unique wooden illustrations of his journey to the cross.  Pre-schoolers will hear a preschool friendly version of the same story on Easter Sunday.

Our objective is that children hear clearly that Jesus came to rescue the world from sin by taking that sin on himself on the cross, and that the cross, wasn’t the end, but the beginning.  Jesus conquered death and came back to life!
