It’s World Mission Sunday
This is World Mission Sunday. We are featuring the Free Wheelchair Mission, an organization that provides free wheelchairs in third world countries in the name of Christ. Our own Christopher Rauh helped put a shipment of them together while in Iraq. Help us send some chairs to those crawling on the ground or confined to bed. There are 100 million people in the world that would love the freedom and mobility we take for granted. Epiphany’s Missions Committee will have more information about this ministry in the fellowship area after the service.

Serving our younger crowd
We are still recruiting teachers for our elementary and pre-school children. Have you ever wondered what goes on back there during the first half of worship? Maybe you are longing to be more connected to the church in a meaningful way.
Church Office Reopens at Noon on Tuesday, Jan. 26
Church of the Epiphany will reopen its offices at noon on January 26.
Offices Closed Jan. 25
The church offices will be closed on Monday, January 25. Offices will be reopened this week when the roads and parking lots are clear.
WORSHIP CANCELED on Sunday, January 24
I have decided to cancel all activities at Epiphany tomorrow, January 24. This means there will be no 8 or 10 am worship services or any other events at the church. Please stay home and stay safe as road crews and others do the work of cleaning up after this historic storm.
That said, just because we are home doesn’t mean we can’t worship…
Apprenticing Teachers
You may have seen that we are recruiting teachers for our elementary and pre-school children. I know the first response of many is that this is not the kind of thing you have experience with or would actually enjoy. But I want to ask, “how do you know?” I am calling on the adventurous types who would be willing to come in early to church on a Sunday morning and learn some insights from an experienced teacher and then be a helper for the day. Maybe you will get your feet wet so to speak, and end up enjoying our younger member’s questions and enthusiasm! Who knows what hidden teaching gift might be lurking just beneath the surface.
