Pentecost in the Park this Sunday

Epiphany will be meeting under the pavilion at Frying Pan Park (2739 West Ox Rd, Herndon, VA 20171) this Sunday at 10 am for worship, followed by a church picnic.

Bring a picnic dish to share and something to keep you and your family hydrated. If you have a safe lawn game (no pointy-darts, please) bring that too! The church will provide plates and silverware, as well as water.

This year, we have a special guest preacher, a missionary who worships with us when he is not traveling for his work among people who have never heard of Jesus.

While going to the park is fun, and a reminder of God’s faithfulness to our church since our first service there in 2012 while we were between church buildings, meeting together and worshiping outside also serves as a powerful yearly illustration that we are called to “go-out” into the world with our faith, not just keep it shut behind church doors.

See you in the park!
